Load Hitcher/Slinger

The load stands and falls with the hitchers/slingers – he/she directs the crane operator. Communication takes place via hand signals. It is essential that this runs smoothly.

It is therefore necessary for employees in a company to be trained in the best possible way for their work as hitchers/slingers. This training is not a recommendation, but a requirement as usual.

We are able to design training in “slinging loads” in such a way that the applications for slinging equipment in the respective company require it.

We always bring a selection of slinging equipment with us to the training course. Regardless of whether it’s lifting chains, round slings, ropes, webbing slings or shackles.

For example, we bring lifting chains in various quality classes. Our chains have various clevis and shortening hooks. Application examples with rockers as well. In addition, we bring along slinging equipment that is ready to be discarded so that the participants can assess different conditions.

Together with the slinging equipment of the respective customers, we can address the circumstances precisely. If special equipment such as load lifting magnets or sheet metal clamps are used, we can show illustrative material for training purposes through our cooperation partners.
