The PHILIPP Power Duo System is a high-performance connection system for precast reinforced concrete elements, specifically designed for demanding applications in precast construction. It enables the safe transfer of tensile and shear forces both parallel and perpendicular to the joint, thereby offering maximum flexibility in structural design.
The system consists of two profiled, galvanized rails—one flat and one deep—equipped with cable loops and plastic cams. This design ensures optimal interlocking with the concrete and guarantees high load-bearing capacities. The rails are cast into the precast elements, the loops are unfolded, and then connected using rebar. The force-fit connection is created by filling the joint with an approved thixo- or grouting mortar.
A key advantage is the wide permissible tolerance range, which allows for flexible installation without the need for high precision. At the same time, the system significantly reduces planning and time requirements through simple sizing and efficient installation.
