🚆 Stuttgart 21: Grounding for a 33-km stretch ⚙️
For a rail project of this magnitude, it is essential to have technical solutions that fit precisely and function reliably over the long term.
PHILIPP supplied the appropriate grounding sockets and grounding connectors for the section of the line constructed by PORR.
The challenge: The bushings had to be precisely integrated into the track support plates. At the same time, different installation scenarios and a wide range of connection lengths had to be taken into account.

✔️ Supply of grounding sockets for embedding in the track slabs using flat steel, a threaded sleeve, and a stainless steel washer
✔️ Additional corrosion protection provided by the galvanized ends of the grounding sockets
✔️ Supply of grounding connectors in various lengths
This enabled us to provide a grounding solution tailored to the project that meets the technical requirements and complies with applicable DB regulations.
