The PHILIPP Power OS channel is a versatile connecting channel for (semi-)precast elements and cast-in-place concrete structures. It enables the secure connection of different types of components and is specifically designed for applications that combine precast and cast-in-place concrete construction.
The galvanized rail is equipped with cable loops spaced at regular intervals to ensure reliable load transfer. In the final state, the loops are unfolded and connected to a reinforcing bar. The concrete or mortar poured in creates a force-fit connection that permanently secures the joint.
The Power OS channel transfers tensile and shear forces both parallel and perpendicular to the joint. It is suitable for both vertical and horizontal connections and can be used, for example, in wall-to-wall, wall-to-ceiling, and wall-to-column connections. Its symmetrical design ensures that no specific installation orientation needs to be considered.
Thanks to its building code approval and verified load-bearing capacity, the system offers a high degree of planning reliability. It also meets stringent fire safety requirements and can be used in accordance with applicable standards.
The Power OS rail system stands out for its ease of use, high flexibility, and versatility in modern construction.
