🌉 Custom lifting solution for the Franklin Bridge in Mannheim. 🏗️

The Franklin Bridge in Mannheim is considered the longest integral wooden bridge in the world. For this extraordinary construction project, the 32 carbon-concrete slabs that make up the bridge deck were equipped with a custom-developed transport anchoring solution from the PHILIPPGRUPPE. 💪

The particular challenge: The precast carbon-concrete elements have a thin slab thickness and a conical geometry. A customized solution was therefore needed to ensure safe transport and precise installation. ⚙️

Four short, shallow-embedded stainless steel flat steel anchors were used. In combination with a leveling sling, the concrete slabs were safely transported, precisely positioned, and successfully installed. 🤝

The result: A custom transport anchor solution for a challenging bridge project—safe, reliable, and successfully implemented in practice. 🚀
