🔧 Preventive maintenance of a material-handling excavator during operation. 🏗️
To ensure the continued reliable operation of a material-handling excavator, we implemented a comprehensive preventive maintenance program directly at the customer’s site.
After a detailed assessment, it quickly became clear that isolated repairs would not be enough. What was needed was a comprehensive solution to ensure the long-term safe and efficient operation of the central hydraulic systems. ⚙️
The particular challenge: Approximately 160 hydraulic hoses had to be replaced, work had to be performed on the hose reel on the boom, and the hydraulic system on the lifting cab had to be replaced. This required the highest level of precision, careful planning, and strict safety measures.
The following were used:
🛠️ Precision manufacturing and installation of approximately 160 hydraulic hose lines
📏 Replacement of approximately 50 meters of hose line on the hose reel
🏗️ Replacement of the hydraulic system on the lifting cabin, including secure support and removal of the counterweight
The result: A thoroughly refurbished machine—designed for long-term, reliable, efficient, and trouble-free operation. 🚀
