Every project has its own requirements. Our experts will help you find the right technical solution.
Initial situation and requirements
Following a status analysis, the condition of the loading excavator was assessed on-site at the customer’s location before work began. Based on this, the scope of work, measures to be taken, and the workflow could be reliably planned.
It quickly became clear that isolated repairs would not be enough. What was needed was comprehensive maintenance with a preventive approach to ensure the excavator could be operated efficiently and without disruptions over the long term.
Special challenges arose from the replacement of approximately 160 hydraulic hoses, work on the hose reel on the boom, and the replacement of the hydraulic system on the lifting cab.
Our solution and implementation
- Detailed project planning, including an estimate of the workload
- Precision manufacturing and installation of approximately 160 hydraulic hose assemblies
- Replacement of approximately 50 meters of hose on the hose reel at the boom
- Renovation of the hydraulic system on the lift car, including secure support and prior removal of the counterweight
The PHILIPP solution implemented maintenance of the material-handling excavator using a detailed, preventive approach. Rather than simply repairing individual areas of damage, key hydraulic components were comprehensively replaced. Each hose line was custom-fabricated to fit perfectly and then installed; replacing approximately 50 meters of hose line on the hose reel at the boom was particularly challenging.
Work on the excavator’s lifting cab also required a high degree of technical precision and a consistent focus on safety. To this end, the counterweight was first removed and the cab was securely supported before the hydraulic system was replaced. Through regular coordination with the customer, ongoing progress checks, joint on-site acceptance, and training, the project was completed transparently and successfully.

Following intensive and detailed planning, maintenance work on the loading excavator was carried out at PHILIPP.

Even areas that are difficult to access were repaired by our trained staff, ensuring long-term, efficient, and trouble-free operation for our customers
